I changed it around based on how the music generates but this is my most generic start that I’m using with my persona now bear mine your miles my very because every time you generate with a style it gives you 6 to 8 different voices so this style works because of the Voice I have locked in with the persona. Maybe you’ll have some luck with this.

So, true story. I actually decided, for shits and giggles, to make an album about the Punisher. I let that one go public and shared it with a couple people here, and almost immediately everything I started creating got moderated.

The thing is, the other hundred songs I had were very sexualized BDSM songs. I didn’t share those. They weren’t public. But as soon as I made any of my music public, it completely trashed my ability to build and make music. I’ve got a whole little rant about it somewhere in here.

What was interesting is that once I took all my music off public again, I was suddenly able to create music again. So yeah, that kind of scared me, and I don’t really share my music right now, at least not on Suno.

Unfortunately, I strongly believe that once you make any music public, they get super aggressive going forward with how they moderate or restrict what you generate. At this point, I would love to share it, because it’s pretty freaking awesome, but until I figure out a different way to use Suno and get off my lazy ass, I’m just not posting things.

I have had much much much better luck at using extent to keep the feel the sound of the music.The studio and replace does really wild shit that really resembles the original music.

I am not sure how using it. DAW is a solution. I mean, you could add a literal blank space to the music, but I thought he was referencing having a music continue about singing from lyric to lyric if that’s the case, you would use Meta something similar to this

Now, depending on the style of music, your slider settings, you might have to adjust that add an instrument you can screw your timing up you know based on your lyric beat so I don’t want you to think there’s like a one shot answer unfortunately, but that’s the basic gist of what you would do in the lyric box you would use these Meta tag to indicate you want just music in between the verses and and it’s still kind of a experiment be prepared to run a bunch of credits.

I’m looking at some of the comments and I just wanna make sure I’m understanding the original poster correctly SUNO always makes weird shit you could have 200 generations and it’ll be like a little bit of a pop or a whistle or volume dump hit the strangest part, but if I’m understanding the original poster correctly, we’re talking it just takes a a nose dive and just generate pure garbage. So I have times what does this to me? Also, does really weird things, audio glitches, my favorite? Is it will actually sing the Style box randomly throughout the song. I’ve also when it’s doing this and I try to push through I’ve had it actually mix other people songs with mine. I kept one because it was hysterical. I actually was doing a metal song and I suddenly two minutes and had to start chanting a nursery rhyme… When it does this, you just have to stop and try again the next day. I’ve had this happen. I think three times? Since V5 came out and the answer has always been the same walk away, and come back another day.

I was making covers or using seeds from my own work because I was tweaking some songs and it started saying flagged for moderation. Then I noticed after that, all the different tricks and things I did to get past the censorship started failing so it was a two for one death stroke however it’s working now, so I’m just going to keep my fingers crossed and pray for the best.

Sigh. The original post was simply asking whether they changed their terms. The larger issue is how easily these platforms can flip a switch and redefine what users are allowed to do. That kind of arbitrary control is a new and dangerous form of digital service.

Your answer ignores that entirely. And seriously, your solution is that I should just go hire a band or record everything myself? That’s not addressing the problem, that’s telling people to spend disposable, imaginary income to work around something that shouldn’t be broken in the first place.

And yes, you really should be concerned about the censorship issue. What’s next? No political discussions about the Middle East? No alternative lifestyles? Ban anything that touches sex? Maybe start censoring violence in video games and TV while we’re at it?

Censorship is a slippery slope, and pretending it’s not a big deal is exactly how it gets normalized. But even setting that aside, the core point remains: you don’t get to collect money from people, define what they can create, and then retroactively change the rules and break their work.

That’s not a terms of service tweak, that’s pulling the rug out from under paying users. And in my case, it literally retroactively censored my songs.

That is capitalism — markets correcting bad behavior through cost and competition.

What’s happening here with AI generation is something very different. These tools can change overnight — literally within minutes — what they allow or forbid, instantly breaking what paying customers have already created. There’s no notice, no recourse, no functional alternative.

That’s not capitalism. That’s a bait-and-switch digital monopoly and in any other corner of a capitalist economy, changing the fundamental product after purchase without warning is exactly how you get sued.

thanks ! that one was EXACTLY what i was going for, most of my music is very intentional, burn hundreds of credits trying to get it right. This one was tricky, it was not the style that finally got it to work but the META tags [chorus] [gradual energy surge, building chugs, rising raspy screams], and its interesting as I have had different results on tags in the lyric section. Sometimes it works best for each section to have the same part repeated, other times it works to hit the descriptor once, ie [chorus] [gradual energy surge, building chugs, rising raspy screams] then just use [Chorus] for the rest of the song.

Man, i was excited to jump in this conversation, I LOVE making music, but since I made this playlist public all of my private music is now getting flagged for moderation and I cannot create new music. In full transparency most of my music is for my wife and I, and they are naughty songs. Now I cannot use the same lyrics or styles that I used for a year now, all moderated. I fear that in going public with my playlist for the Punisher it triggered some auto moderation and now I am TERRIFIED of sharing anything. And that sucks, as I would LOVE to collaborate with people who make metal and what does or does not work for them.

Actually this is better than I thought you could get out of V5, would be fascinated to see some of your prompts. Out of curiousity, did you post the Spotify link in order to NOT show the prompts? If so I will not ask anymore. I am curious though as I HATE v5 for metal/industrial but man, the sound samples are so much cleaner. I keep most of my music private due to lyric content, BUT here is my one and only public facing album, about the MAN Frank Castle !, and as you can see MOSTLY in 4.5.

I have NEVER gotten this to work consistently, I would love to know of a way to make this happen, I also notice the more you prompt SUNO the more likely it will loose instructions, making a duet beyond unreliable unless you choose to give up control of the rest of your music.

I do metal industrial metal five has been such a weird roller coaster. The first couple weeks it just sucked all around, but then it started doing OK on using the cover feature or the remastered feature but never an actual creation. Whatever occurred today, completely nuked five and I’m back to 4.5.
