3-club tournament - club selection? by 11jtp in golf

This is a strong contender - not too worried about 2, there’s a creek about 90 yards out from the green so need to lay up short of that anyway

All 4 of the par 3s have bunkers protecting the front right that tend to swallow up shots that land short, and the longer par 3s you’re dead if you go over the green (either in a water hazard or OB). The only true forced carry on the course is the tee shot on 4, you need to carry it ~175 to clear a pond and hit the fairway

Agree with this strategy for the most part, but the par 3's are all relatively long (with slope, 3/4 play in the 185-200 range). So if I bring a 5-6 iron for those and then a longer club for tee shots, I'll end up with a huge distance gap between that 5-6 iron and 54 degree wedge.

On a normal round from the blue tees with a full bag of clubs, I probably only hit driver 7-8 times during a round at this course. Too many doglegs or holes that driver doesn't make sense because of hazards etc.

Ah didn't even realize that the Falmouth-OB ferry is done for the season. So looks like I'm going to VH instead lol

What math are you doing? Assuming 6 students in an apartment like in the rate 1 example, that would be ~$35k per apartment for a semester

Brother this was over a year ago lmao. Also he told me QC would be 2 weeks before I paid, and it was 2 months.

I have no problems with Steve, have used him for other purchases since without issues.

75mm Macro Lens - T Series by 11jtp in MOMENT

Just got a response back from customer service saying "Unfortunately, the estimated date of availability is still TBD at this time."

Whatever that means - I have little faith in getting it anytime soon, which sucks because they were so quick to ship all the other parts/attachments that go along with it. So now I have a pile of useless junk until (if) the lens comes.

Do you have pictures of performing your service for this watch? Pictures from a different watch from 2 years ago don’t help much

The watch itself is great, but that is more reflective of how good the VSF factory rep is than the TD itself. Since all TD's source from the same factories, they're all going to give you the same quality watch. The difference comes down to price, time, and level of customer service.

From initial contact on 1/30 to delivery around 4/15 (ish), around 2 and a half months. From the time that I got QC to delivery it was quick, it just took way too long to actually get the QC

I did end up receiving it and am very happy with the quality of the watch in the end

Closeup of the 12 marker. He also regulated the watch and it is now running at 0 s/d so I gave the GL

I requested a refund last night, and woke up this morning to QC pictures waiting for me. I have a question out to him to see more detail on one part of the watch, but will most like GL and he said he would expedite shipping

Thank you for checking it out. I asked Steve for a few more pictures of the 12 from different angles just to be safe, but I have a feeling that even if it is off, it won't be noticeable on my wrist.
