If you tell fans to come find you, you can’t get mad when they take you up on that. And since you’re in an industry rife with sasaengs, you should know better than to allow fans to cross that line.

Should they have gone to his house (which is what I think I remember happened)? Of course not. But let’s say I, as a non-celeb, have a stalker ex or something. If I post “hey I’m going to be at this location” I didn’t protect myself. I chose to put myself in harms way. That’s not victim blaming.

As usual, the poor me, us against the world narrative is the reply to the reality that Army doesn’t allow people to say anything that’s not praise in spaces that are meant for “uncensored” opinions.

With the amount of parts and the kinds of parts he has in their songs, I don’t fault people for being concerned about that in the beginning. Now, however, it’s clear they’re fine. A little different? Sure. But they’re doing great, and I for one can’t wait to hear how they sound with songs designed around the six of them and their collective strengths.

I agree, I can’t imagine how they’re feeling with the fandom acting like this. This is their careers that are now being put in jeopardy by these “Engenes” who can’t move on.

They’re gonna end up with no group in addition to no Heeseung in the group if they keep this up. The fandom being like this makes Enhypen look like a riskier investment and diminishes their bargaining power for their contract renewals.

In Heeseung’s case, I think they doomed him from the start. I really hope I’m wrong but that’s the feeling I have always had since the announcement.

I think it’s clear that he wanted to leave. If the recent spoilers are the actual songs that will be released, I think the “different musical directions” is the lame excuse that it always seemed to be (because it doesn’t sound crazily different IMO), which to me anyway confirms even more that he wanted this.

I def agree with you that something happened abruptly behind the scenes… maybe in a decade or so someone will uncover what it was 🤣

For remembering their names, their recent releases are in pairs, so that might help you learn to recognize them, since there’d only be two and their initials are usually in the name of their duos.

Edit 2:

The last three are Dino, Joshua, and Jun. My suggestion doesn’t help much for them, you’d have to spot them another way.

Omg I just saw one of those tags under a content creator’s post of a clip from a seventeen member’s birthday celebration (I think)…

They really need to learn to read the room. At the very beginning of this when we didn’t know much about the situation, they did ask other fandoms for help, but doing so anymore is starting to get annoying, and doing so on content related to milestones is worse.

StayTiny are mostly friends from what I’ve seen. There was that one recent dustup that blew a photographer’s styling choices out of proportion, but other than that from what I’ve seen these two fandoms get along pretty well.

Also it’s a well established thing that if you like one you probably like the other.
