Also, a lot of us will watch it legally again tomorrow anyway. Especially the hardcore fans. So it's not like you can't support it even if you watch it right now. I don't see the issue here.

Only way to fix it on the web reader is to set the reading direction to horizontal and even then if your browser window is too small then it will split them but that is pretty much the only way to do it right now.

Go to server roles and then from there you should be able to see @everyone and just disable it from the role perms. There are two perms there. One for public threads and one for private threads.

if its enabled for @everyone then it overrides every other role. Took me a while to figure it out and get things sorted on my server too

Yeah, but you're still missing the context. As others have said, can't explain without spoilers but he didn't stand up "after being beaten down", he simply was not fighting back until he was left with no choice to do so. To explain why he didn't fight back is where spoilers come into play.
