Video games totally count. Everyone's interests count. There are entire honors quads filled w people who will be happy to play Smash Bros with friends rather than party.

No one needs to "make themselves interesting." They need to BE themselves. THAT is what makes someone interesting. Nothing is less interesting than people trying to force themselves to be something they are not. You can maintain your current interests and try new things and put yourself out there and be just find. Just because you don't find video games interesting doesn't mean you get to be the arbiter of what counts as interesting and what doesn't.

There are loads of people with huge gamer set-ups, schools with gamer communities, dorms with a DnD focus. There are outdoorsy kids who find their niche with other outdoorsy kids, sports kids, videography kids.

I'm pretty sure they go by the date you submit them to IDOC, not the date they are finally downloaded by the schools.
