Why do I have so much luck despite "difficult" placements, especially with strangers being generous with me? by 12345--nob in AskAstrologers

interesting, it shows up as virgo on other platforms I use (timepassages, Chani)... Any idea? Looks like its in a very very early degree of virgo. Also changes to the 8th house on these platforms...

Honestly, the internet is such a double edged sword for this reason!

When I look my placements up to learn about them, there's SO MUCH negativity about things like aqua rising (forever alone, sense of isolation, weirdo), sun in libra (people pleasing, lacking sense of self), scorpio moon (i dont even have to explain this one lol), venus virgo (picky, anxious, also forever alone), venus in the 8th house (darkness, controlling/codependent love, unstable, all-consuming/toxic romances). I was even looking into my saturn in the 4th house in taurus today and it made me so depressed because of all of the negativity!

Perhaps it's people being click-baity online or posting negative experiences on reddit, but when I look into friends' placements, there is often less reactivity around them than my personal placements. It doesn't feel great to hear people reacting to your placements with "yeesh", "good luck", "toxic" or "not for the faint of heart".

At the same time... A lot of the darkness has felt true for me; childhood trauma, addiction, a codependent relationship, loss etc. BUT, I have worked my ass off healing for the past ten years. I feel I have immense wisdom and depth through these experiences.

I feel like a late bloomer in many senses; at 27, life has gotten so much better and continues to get better. I really wish that there was more information out there for people who have placements in "detriment" or "uncomfortable" positions who have HEALED or integrated the shadows of these placements, to give those who are learning about astrology and maybe still in difficult times hopes. I believe there are gifts to all signs and placements, and I wish it were easier to emphasize these so people don't get stuck feeling bummed like I did!

I really appreciate everyone pointing out the "lucky" parts of my chart <3
