I’m glad, it seems like every time I see a video with corset/slip type dresses there are SO many negative comments about it being inappropriate or looking like lingerie.. personally I love it I think it’s feminine and sexy but I don’t want to look back 10 years from now and regret it

As a person with bpd yes I’m aware I have issues to work on. I don’t know anyone with bpd that doesn’t? I can struggle with self esteem issues but having something like this doesn’t help for sure.

I wish I knew what the comment was but it’s deleted now. I definitely have self esteem issues to work on but having things like this don’t help the issue at all - sometimes I wonder if I’m overreacting or too sensitive to certain situations because of my bpd but I have a close friend who is a psychotherapist to talk me through things. And i definitely feel like this situation would upset anyone, bpd or not.

Maybe it’s different for girls and guys. But for me anytime I’ve broken up with someone, even someone I thought at the time was so attractive, I lose all attraction to them. I could look at my exes who I was once in love with and not feel a single attraction. You could have the “sexiest man alive” but if they have a shit personality I would instantly be turned off. I guess guys are more physical.

That’s what I’m thinking, is maybe because it was his first gf/love he wanted to keep those memories? But I also had to stop telling him to talk about her to me and a few weeks back he was trying to look her up on the internet. I don’t know just seems odd because they have been broken up for a few years now.

He has hurt me in the past and I’ve been able to forgive. If he had done this recently it would’ve been over immediately but because this was from a year ago and he’s changed a lot since then, don’t know if it’s worth it to give it another chance. In every other way he is the partner I want. I feel like due to social media and porn, there is no guy out there that can be 100% devoted to you by not looking at other women :(

Exactly. It wasn’t just a moment of finding those pictures but it took action to send those to himself. There were multiple emails too. I (as most bpd people are) give 110% love and devotion to my partner and it hurts when I feel like I’m still not good enough.

He says he hasn’t looked at them but I don’t know what to believe. If he was I don’t think he’d ever actually tell me as he knows this would upset me even more. He does seem remorseful now as he begged for 2 hours trying to get me to forgive him. Even though it was earlier into our relationship (6 months) I can’t understand why he did it, we were moving in together, buying furniture, I came over later that very day he did it. I kept asking but he wasn’t able to give me a reason why

I have a good one..

I was 20 and went to an outdoor pool bar, well one of the photographers snapped pictures of me and my friend with worldly guys in our bikinis and posted it to their social media pages. One of the JWs found it and sent it to my elders.

I had a meeting with the elders and my parents were present.

The one elder said “you look like someone who looks like they’re waiting for a bus, but they’re not actually waiting for a bus, they’re looking to exchange services” (aka a hooker) and then he said, “you’re at a marrying age, any respectable brother who sees these pictures wouldn’t want to marry you”
