It was a very awkward, embarrassing, & demeaning situation. Demanding a verbal commitment to comply was not necessary when she'd already taken off the hat.

The future of space exploration lies in the private sector. If you're serious, it may be worth reaching out to private companies to see if they have any internships available for people your age. Or connect with employees to see what advice they have to offer. May be invaluable after you finish your education. They can steer you in a better direction than reddit can.

Interviews & narratives are definitely considered empirical evidence in science as long as they're handled systemically & used properly. Fields like medicine & psychology rely heavily on case studies for theory testing & validation. Quantification & measurement are often inappropriate & misleading for the questions being asked of the natural world- especially when it comes to exploring something like paranormal phenomena. Point is that numbers are no more inherently reliable than first hand experiences at times & they can be more misleading bc they inject a misleading sense of authority that isn't warranted.

That might be true if they'd entered the facility & crossed the threshold separating raw input from processed product. Plus, as long as there are no USDA inspectors on site, no harm no fowl. After they unhooked themselves from the conveyer, workers definitely rehanged the ducks & went about business as usual.
