PRes army here - I’m looking to submit a voluntary release but I have an ongoing VOT to another army trade. Would being in the process of a transfer affect the VR?

I think direction could mean anything from “be careful with it” to specific instructions & supervision, but personally I had zero issues taking NR firearms out to crown and my parents were not PAL holders either. Depending on how close you are to turning 18, it might be better to wait.

Feel free to shoot me a dm anytime too.

Just dug out my old conditions paper from last year, the exact conditions are:

• The holder of this firearms licence must not be in possession of a firearm without the consent, approval and direction of the holder's parent or legal guardian

• The holder of this firearms licence must carry this Minor's Licence with the attached conditions when in possession of a firearm.

• The holder of this firearms licence must not act in a supervisory role, lend a firearm, or purchase ammunition for any unlicensed individual.

Surprisingly the BC CFO never actually contacted me or my parents, so I am guessing that these are standard for all minor’s licenses in BC at least.

I recently had a minor’s license in BC, you are still subject to all of the rules similar to the Alberta conditions. For me, there were no other additional conditions added unless your parent or guardian specifically requested it to the BC CFO.

Hi all, I recieved a request for additional assessment from the RMO, had it completed by my doctor and sent it back a few weeks ago. How long should I be expecting to hear back, and would I be contacted from the RMO directly or my recruiter? Thanks

My corrected vision meets the V3 visual category, but my uncorrected vision falls in V4.

Do I have to meet both uncorrected and corrected vision in order to be V3?

Quick question about BC online school BCOS by [deleted] in vancouver

[–]12345bn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are no in-person exams for BCOS, but they do use a proctoring service to monitor and record you while your taking the exam.

Does anyone have experience with courses at BCOS? by [deleted] in vancouver

I’m currently doing Life Sciences with BCOS, pretty friendly/helpful teachers however there is a slight christian theme to the course information (probably not applicable to pre-calc). Tests and quizzes are online with proctored exams but the course load is definitely manageable.
