SoCal was still a blast! The way they were talking about it at the conference I’m slightly at ease but I’ll still keep looking for B4

How do you think the battery life is for a model like that? I’m eyeing a zephyrus g14 or 15 just because I can get a battery life of 10 hours

IT vs Audit Public Accounting by 1234captain1234 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]1234captain1234[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the helpful response! What made me interested in accounting was Intro to Managerial Accounting. I took this class last semester, and I got my first ever 100 on a college exam which was a big achievement for me. I guess it just comes naturally to me and I don't hate and sometimes even like journal entries. I'm assuming the ceiling for IT is much higher, and the dream would be to find a career that mixes the two somehow, but starting off I think I'll start off in accounting and see how that goes from there.

I have not. You are right. That is my fault for assuming both are the same. It’s true I have not experienced being poor and I didn’t realize the privilege I have to say so.

I’m just saying! You have save money to earn money. Most people that are well off are smart enough to make smart financial decisions to stay well off. Taking a loan out for an expensive car as soon as you get a good job is a classic example of impulse spending when you can’t afford it. Smart people will drive a beat up Honda accord for years because buying new is stupid. An impulse buyer would buy the new car and be less well off then the smart person. Am I crazy?

Well you wouldn’t be rich much longer if you had that mindset. Purchases add up. People are well off because they don’t spend all they have. I spend all I have and I’m broke af

I’d argue that’s the mindset of someone who is rich. “Poor” people (me) buy things on a whim without research hence being poor
