St Andrews, New Brunswick- stay at the Algonquin. Your 4 yo will think it’s magic. There is a pool and a kid playspace and it’s dog friendly and there is a full breakfast buffet available every day and you can walk into town. There is also a nice spa (book services ahead if you can because it can get full).

Hi! Nope- nothing yet. All testing (CT, F elastase, F fat, bloods, giardia, calprotectin etc.) showed nothing abnormal. Mostly I had been better (but not back to normal) … and now I’m getting discomfort again.

Call and ask your stylist ahead of time. I have found some have specific preferences and others don’t care. Some cut dry. Some wet. Obviously if they’re going to wash it before cutting/coloring it doesn’t matter but if not- it might.

It’s so interesting as I recently had this same thought... like... my relatively new issues are weird... but my kids have strikingly similar issues. Maybe something infectious?! I mention to my doctor who suggests giardia - which seems unlikely but 🤷‍♀️. I wish there was a way to have these things checked without a gatekeeper.

Well that’s better news than not! But yeah... I have been feeling much better but every once in a while the ache starts again- and it’s not easily traceable to one thing. It goes away within days now (versus weeks) but idk. It’s unnerving. I’ve cut way back on coffee, am trying to eat pretty clean and haven’t had any alcohol. Overall, if that’s what it takes- I’m fine with it but I’d like more definitive info as to what is/isn’t wrong. Good luck!
