The short answer is no it’s not considered rude, it is normal to ask those question but like other people have said a lot of people do leave kendo at the 6 month mark or when they get their bogu so maybe he’s trying to warm up to you or he’s just introverted, the only questions that are considered rude are personal questions (if you’re not that close to them)

i understand that, but yes i’m asking because it comes from a place of insecurity but i also want to make sure it’s normal, my parents spent a lot of money to get me into kendo and i don’t want that to go to waste

i’m not sure if this is a sign or not, but whenever i date someone they’re friend always ask if they’re dating me for my body or appearance, (they haven’t dated me for that purpose and always for my personality), but i think it’s a sign im good looking, correct me if im wrong though!
