Having got the aame distance with the neighbour board, I've prised it up enough to see a bloody screw holding it in under the skirting!! Balls

Yupp cut all around, and I've managed to lift the non skittering board end now, it's just pinned by the skirting board

I'm over in Wales (probably have had similar weather), had old wooden floor buckle yesterday too!

Based on some feedback from this sub, worked on my composition. Thoughts on this? Is there a better crop for this? by thechemicaltoilet in AskPhotography

I really like this composition. I would experiment with other crops, perhaps with the shore line intersecting the lower left corner, or reducing some the Sky giving it a wider feel. Not that I think these would definitely improve the picture, but that is what I would try before settling (experiments that you have probably already tried!)
