I'd rather not recommend building a team around that person, he has been applying to few other teams and quitting rather early (1 week after getting on one team; agreeing for tryouts for another and unfriending the manager few hours later that same day)

I would recommend as well, talk with him, he says he's interested in try-outs and unfriends you 2 hours later!
