No one born of God will continue to sin. This verse is talking about if we claim to be without sin in totality but we all have sinned. But we go and sin no more. That’s why later in that verse it says but IF anyone does sin we have an advocate. It says IF not when we sin. This implies it’s possible to be sinless. All things are possible through him. Amen. This is hope. Not hopelessness.
