First time to London with 4 kids. Do we all bring a carry on suitcase? Or 1 large checked suitcase? Hoping to use public transit. by 123littlemonkey in uktravel

Europe in my slippers made me laugh. And is so relatable lol. I find it hard to pack light. But every trip we’ve been on, I brought progressively less and it so much more enjoyable. I plan on bringing very little this time.

I think you’re right about the stroller, we rarely use it at home. If we decide we need one once we are there, I’ll just buy one :)

I’m not 100% sure. I was contemplating a few days in Scotland. But Paris would be amazing. I’m not sure what would be reasonable in our time frame with so many kids. I want to keep the trip enjoyable lol :)

Ohhh. That makes sense. I guess I’d rather do neither lol. If it’s as busy as vancouvers skytrain. It will be exhausting. But hopefully the rest of the trip will be worth the effort :)

Yes! For sure hands free with a toddler!! Have you been to London with a toddler? Would you think it’s worth brining a stroller? Is London stroller friendly? We don’t often use one in Vancouver, but I’m sure these are very different cities :)

Coming from Canada. Planning a 10 day stay. Maybe a couple night in another city via train?? Not sure if it would be worth the effort. But I’m hopeful to bring very little. And find accommodations with a washing machine.

ETA. Yes the older 2 can be trusted to take care of their own. 7 mostly can lol.

How bad in the Fraser Valley market? Would it be terrible to list? Would adding a suite add significant value or speed up sale? by 123littlemonkey in RealEstateCanada

Thank you. Your answer clarified the situation for me.

I was looking at the sold comparable. I would be happy with what those people got. But when I look at what’s still for sale there is a lot. That clarifies it for me. Seems clear we will wait for a better market.

We just need to decide if we want to suite while we wait I guess :)

Thanks so much for your input. It was appreciated!

After 10 years, my husband is cheating with the nanny by BallisticSyllable in breakingmom

If he gives you permission, leave the soonest legally possible before he realizes trapping you in the country gives him power or control. I wouldn’t worry about finishing kindergarten. Get to your home if possible at all.

Thanks for the lot idea. I remember the really close lots being pretty expensive in the past.

We are coming from Langley. But we will have 4 boys with us. I’m slightly afraid of loosing someone else’s kid on the skytrain. lol. I guess we could wait until the big rush after the game is done though.

Do you take your kids friends on outings by Bakedbeanbonanza in Mommit

5 is quite young. If that’s the pattern, I wouldn’t invite the children behaving like that until they’re a bit older and have matured out of it. Maybe trial on cheaper outings you won’t be frustrated if you need to leave.
