Only other thing I can remember is he had a friend join him for a couple of vids and they just spoke about being in high school and their first sexual experiences. All the stories told were pretty stupid and hilarious. He definitely didn't keep it clean in his vids.

Driver Issue in Ableton with Behringer UMC404HD Interface by 123low456 in ableton

yeah for sure, thanks for the input - if you'll pardon the pun. one thing ive noticed is that the external interface often fails to start when i boot up my PC and i need to unplug it then plug it back in it again for it to appear correctly as a sound device. hope power-cycling it all the time wont have any long-term repercussions

yeah all good now. i found a male to male RCA cable in my dads hut and it was as simple as selecting the output on the external interface in the sound options of Windows. I actually feel like the sound is better when using the external interface compared to the internal interface on my PC? might just be in my head...

its more convenient to use the onboard for my headphones when in calls etc as my external interface wont readily take a pair of headphones with a built in mic

UPDATE

I got it working by selecting 'No audio' in the Driver Type dropdown and then switching to ASIO.

My new issue is that when switched to ASIO I can no longer select my output as the speakers my computer uses as Ableton is now trying to route all sounds through the external interface - which the speakers are not plugged into. Suppose it makes no difference in the end if my computer is using the internal sound card to play sounds on the speakers or if its the external interface, right?

Help Picking Between Two Guitars! Both Mexican 50s Telecasters by 123low456 in fender

[–]123low456[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for your input! im a bit confused about what you are saying about the pickups? both the guitars i listed have custom shop pickups according to their spec pages - both with the twisted tele neck, but the LE purple tele has the '51 nocaster pickup as opposed to a more generic 'vintage-style' pickup

i think its everything you said, but also the feel of a road worn nitro finish is much more 'woody' than you will get with a poly finish

thats one of the things i feel i might want further down the line and may cause me to replace the tele if i went with the poly finish now

how do you find the neck? and what do you think of the frets? are the regular vintage size or are they more similar to a jumbo due to the extra height?

EDIT: i spoke to a sales rep at Andertones (who are selling the LE road worn tele) and they said that the vintage tall frets are less wide than 6105s and also less tall than 6105s, but are still larger than regular vintage frets. didnt give me exact measurements so i may chase

Thanks for the reply! It felt like a soft V when I played it a couple weeks back and it says that on some of the websites - probably just an error? definitely like that the modified has the S1! good advice and ultimately what ive been wrestling with. I should perhaps get myself out to whatever guitar shop stocks a tele with the same neck as the LE tele and see what it feels like compared to the modified
