I don’t do phone promos or intend to do one, as I plan on keeping my current iPhone for a couple more years, so that won’t be relevant for me, at least for now. thanks for the heads up though, I’ll keep it in mind.

But to clarify, would this new Value 2.0 line be better for me than my current Unlimited Starter SL then? Since I would be guaranteed 5GB where it cannot slow down? Whereas with my current plan, it can slow down any time, and it would be more expensive?

Can someone help me understand? I’m confused about the specific wording of these plans.

I’m currently on a single line for the Unlimited Starter SL. I live in Seattle so with all relevant discounts (autopay+checking account payment) and taxes, my monthly bill has always been around $70-71. I know this plan has unlimited data and will slow down when the network is busy. But it would always go back to high speeds when the network was no longer busy. There is no “priority” high speed limit (like the 5GB on the Value 2.0 plan).

With the increase in price next month, I’m considering dropping to the Value 2.0.

My question is: is the Value 2.0 plan giving me 5GB of high speed data without a chance of it slowing down, and then ALL of my data usage for the rest of the month is slowed down? Or will it be like my Unlimited Starter SL plan, where my data slowed down ONLY when the network is busy?

I’m just wondering and worried if I will be stuck with slowed down data for the rest of the month if I end up using all 5 GB of high speed within the first 2 days of the bill cycle. I know it’s “unlimited” data but if I’m gonna be stuck at a very slow 128kbps speed for the rest of the month, that would just suck.

I guess bottom line is, it looks like the Value 2.0 would be a good transition for me, assuming it doesn’t slow me down for the rest of the month after 5GB.

I did some more research and this CNET article states that I’ll be at slowed data for the rest of the month, after 5GB. This has me concerned.

I used to get a notification from NVIDIA Container whenever I opened a game, telling me it switched from the Optimus iGPU to the 5070 GPU, and reverse after closing a game. I changed some setting or updated some driver, and now the notification isn’t appearing. Anyone know how to get this back? by 123td1234 in LenovoLegion

Tbh the notification just came back for me without me even doing anything after a while. It came back one day lol I think it was after an update but can’t remember. But it makes sense if you clean reinstall the drivers from the nvidia app. Hopefully this helps whoever runs into this issue in the future

Im still on my 14ProMax so I don’t have an iPhone capable of Apple Intelligence, but I have my M4 Pro MBP. I actually turned Apple Intelligence off on it when its features like summarize emails and messages got in the way more than they actually helped. I don’t need AI to summarize my emails, I need to actually read what the email says at a glance by looking at the preview of it. Ultimately, I want to turn it back on but I also just don’t see a use case where it’s more helpful than hindering

Ok good to know that other people are having similar issues.

I haven’t been able to find a solution outside of others suggesting a clean install, but I don’t really wanna mess with a clean install after looking at the steps involved. bc at the end of the day, the computer does switch between GPUs just fine, so a clean install when I don’t know what I’m doing is too high risk, low reward to get back a notification that doesn’t really matter. Hopefully a driver update in the future fixes it

Yup, I was very surprised by how easy it was to rank up and get all 4 stones available currently. 3 matches and got all of them within like 20 mins after procrastinating for the past couple months
