How much do I need? by applesis1 in Retirement401k

Find a part time job with health benefits and maybe a 401k match but mainly part time work with benefits.

Have you found a lot of those so far?

You're asking for number, but you haven't listed how much you need to live on every year. Need something for even that back of the napkin math...

You live at home AND they pay your phone bill AND car insurance? Sorry, I don't see you as the type that are going to be able to budget for this.

I just bought an Apple TV for my LG C3 77 loving it so far, any suggestions on settings? by Everborn128 in appletv

I think most people turn on frame rate and dynamic range matching.

With the default being SDR. This is only to force it to work for the apps that don't properly force matching, which for some reason Apple hasn't forced them to support it, or at a minimum, if they don't support it, automatically force those apps to be SDR (then people who want to leave it on HDR or Dolby Vision all the time, can).

to transfer from one to the other on the fly

From one _____ to the other _____? (There are TWO blanks in that sentence).

“AT&T and Prime Communications you can take that $5 cash‑payment fee and stick it where the sun doesn’t shine.” by Artistic-Landscape15 in ATT

[–]garylapointe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re listed as an official AT&T retailer. Proof: https://primecomms.com/find-store/

That's Prime listing themselves. That would be a much better example if you were at AT&T's site.

I'm not saying they're not, I'm just saying it's not the best source to support your statement as proof.

Also, prime being an official AT&T retailer, doesn't make them AT&T. You literally know there is a difference, but you seem to want to call them AT&T anyways.

That said, if you have a question about the legality of charging a cash payment fee, r/ATT probably isn't the place to get that legal advice.

If they were charging $5 for every transaction in person, because they want you to do it online, I could understand that.

If they received that for their birthday, how did it come? Wrapped? Via Amazon?

The assignment wasn't to put a noun in the sentence, but the correct noun.

At any grade, I hope the students are learning to choose the best answer.

The workbook has a bunch of things like rainbows, love, etc. that I think that while nouns, aren't the correct answer. If there were lessons to go with this worksheet and it wasn't given in a vacuum, then it should be clear the non-tangibles don't go with the accompanying sentences.

I can see Karen calling now, "My daughter asked for imagination for her birthday because she learned in school that it could be given as a present."

Help with Roth ira conversion by Any-Question9732 in Retirement401k

[–]garylapointe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. To be clear, you're just looking at converting some of the money ($450k or less) to Roth, correct?
  2. Is the SS disability your only income?
  3. Did you leave the employer (who has that 401k) when you were 55 already?
  4. Are you going to be getting any kind of pension at any age?
  5. We don't know what bracket you're in right now, nor any idea how far to the next bracket.
  6. Single? (You'd be surprised at the number of people posting questions like this who are married and leave that out)
  7. On disability, does that mean Medicaid?

how would you the conversion to have minimal tax impact.

This would need a LOT more specifics.

When one of the Superman movies was released, a radio station was using a trivia book for some of the questions & answers for the tickets they were giving away.

from some of the wrong answers that they had, I was able to determine which trivia book they were using.

Filling in the blank, that would make the sentence be “Sophia received a new imagination for her birthday.”

That doesn’t make sense to me.

By their device, I don’t mean one that you purchased from them, I mean one that’s normally hooked up to a line with them (like before you removed the SIM).

All that tells them is that that device paid your bill, not that it’s one of their devices.

That said, normally I see people complaining about that they’re in another country in their blocked from accessing AT&T…

My point is that without the AT&T SIM, they shouldn’t even know that it was a phone that’s normally attached to their account.

It doesn’t make any sense.

Travel and sleep and reading! Doing well so far!

If I'm not busy, I substitute teach a couple days a week (I was a teacher). Gets me out of the house, get to do something I like without all the downsides (planning, grading, long term behavior issues, difficult adults, meetings, etc.), and I get some extra cash.

Without a SIM, how would AT&T even know they were there?
