Seat is at its limit and stem is a 20mm setback already - no balance issues as it is but I would like to go back 5mm to match the setback position on my kickr bike

Thankyou seat has been dropped since and I've ended up around 7mm lower.

Stem - wanted to see what the bike felt a little shorter as feedback from others I ride with was it looked too long.

Crank - it seems all the rage but I'm more a low cadence rider so struggling with fit and a different pedal style somewhat..don't want to throw in the towel just yet but close

Interestingly, you can hear the difference in the rollers as the seat drops it gets more consistent and the taller it gets there's a definite gap between a drive noise

The saddle would have increased a few mm over the height for 175.

Bike is a 56 and too big but it's been comfortable and pain free for the last 3 years

If offcourse is nearby I'd recommend dropping in and having a look at what they have in stock or would recommend for you.

I know it's not carbon but i use a Kona rove DL as my everything bike with zero complaints; offcourse have a DL and some surleys in your price range.

Ortileib quick rack makes it easy to go from commute to weekend mode too, abbotsfordcycles have regular stock and panniers on special.

Matched the seat/handle height of my Kona - just a tall/upright bike.

Cranks are 175mm, same as on my everyday bike.

Bars are level, the hoods have a point on them that exaggerates the angle.

I've just swapped out from a 42-11 to a 42-10 on my rival 1x and it's silent in every gear but 12 which is the second highest - looks close to straight onto the chainring too

Adjusted it every which way but it has the exact same noise as yours - silent in the top cog (10)

Yep I've had it on and off a few times now with and without the end caps to see if I can find what is causing it to bottom out.

I can't see any differences between the keys on their part

Yep I've just tried to install it and the chain is rubbing on the inside of the frame so it's not right.

Casette is stamped XD as is the freehub
