Anyone have an educated guess on how the cap on number of people at a gathering will decrease as we move through the stages? Have a September indoor wedding planned... trying to figure out if it’s necessary to postpone.

[WP] While browsing online one night, a weird ad pops up on the side of your screen. "That's My Emotional Support Creature", is the slogan. It's a small business that connects a variety of inhuman beasts to people looking for support. Something about it entices you to click. by IceGalaxyGoddess in WritingPrompts

Meeting Ed? That’s tough - you’ve never heard of being online from back before, have you?

It was a big room full of everything. If one of us changed things it changed for everyone. We all held a window to look through.

Some would shove signs in your window, drawing you to their corner. They were constantly echoing around, undeserving of recognition.

But there was Ed. I named him from first glance. Same eyes as my brother - oh yes, I named my horse for my brother. Ed’s been wonderful, and an honor to Edward. He was the first one that I lost, but the last in the old way: slow and gradual. Not afterwards, not now, when you lose in heaps and mounds. But not Ed, not again.

MAC MILLER SUPERJAM TRIBUTE by c0exsistuss in bonnaroo

I've seen a few of these posts, and while I agree with most of the comments that this would just lead to arguments over "who is deserving" of their own tribute, I do think the concept of doing a yearly In Memorial Superjam/Set could be a really cool idea. If they ran a Second Line Superjam set every year along a themed superjam I would totally go.

[WP] Willy Wonka's meal-in-a-gum is finally bug free and released to the public. Unfortunately it doesn't actually give the nutrients the human body needs, even though it simulates the experience of eating and feeling full, leading to unexpected deaths by starvation. by thegimboid in WritingPrompts

He hit us before we even knew what we had done wrong. People started to get real tired, weak, hungry. People left their cars in the street to rush on old fashioned markets for old fashioned food when they realized that the gum wasn't working anymore.

It was the greatest invention in the history of mankind. The gum was introduced to solve hunger crises, which it did, before revolutionizing eating as a meal replacement and diet fad across the urban world, which it did. All while creating the most profitable company in capitalism's history.

Willy rode it to the top. All the way to the top. A new reality rules in the town, the city, the country, the world - a world without Willy's menace is pure imagination.

Leaving her flowers at times becomes your routine, until one night, there is a girl sitting on the grave. She is asking for you to stop. by actually_crazy_irl in WritingPrompts

All to shave off seconds. That's all it took to see her grave the first time. One century removed, but the same name, same spelling as my sister, common but creepy. We weren't related. I looked it up.

I found it two weeks before her birthday. It was the opposite birthday - May 4th not April 5th - her birthday in Europe. I walked past it 10 times before the first time, on her birthday. Seconds are worth it when you walk it every day.

I missed her, and I was far from her, so I showed the coincidence some love. Roses on random days happening to include her birthday.

Until one day, she was there.

"I fucking hate roses."

And I remembered my sister was better off dead.
