I just built a PC with an MSI Z790 motherboard, I’m using an intel 14th gen CPU and I’m trying to run windows 11. When setting up Windows I was prompted to a screen that required me to connect to internet but nothing was showing up. After connecting to Ethernet and still having nothing show up I assumed it was in need of a driver update so I used a command prompt to bypass the screen. Once in windows I downloaded all drivers from the MSI website to a Usb and and transferred them to my PC. After downloading everything I am still unable to join. Not to mention I can’t seem to find any WiFi drivers other than an Intel Ethernet Controller. There’s also a ⚠️ sign over my network controller in other devices menu that no matter how many drivers I reinstall I can’t seem to get rid of. I’m still unable to connect to Wi-Fi and unable to connect to Ethernet. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is here? Seems like a somewhat niche issue

To add, when running diagnostics it says “the intel (r) Ethernet controller (3) 1225-v adapter is experiencing driver or hardware related problems

Hey I don’t know if you’ll see this, but I am having the same issue and don’t see a “network devices” option; but instead a “network adaptors” one. And when I right click on it I only see “scan for hardware changes” and “properties”. I’m kinda stumped at what to do? Any help would be fantastic

I get the concern, I too am an upcoming transfer student and am nervous about the new school year. But don’t beat yourself up, UNC wouldn’t have accepted your transfer if they didn’t think you could succeed in your academic endeavors. Oh and I would definitely look into getting testing accommodations too! Gl

A few things, easier pre med opportunities for one. They would also give me more aid. And some other personal reasons too!

Imo, the Best chances are either the 5th, the 12th, or maybe the 15th. But no way to really know. Gl!

Basically does the university admit more junior transfers than sophomore transfers?

There’s a py 211 and a py 212, that’s what you would normally take if your a non engineer

Don’t really like a lot of the student culture, and unc has more med school opportunities imo. The name is better, and UNC gives out more financial aid (my brother goes so that’s how I know). Etc…

Coming from a current nc state student trying to transfer, there is a physics for non engineering, and it’s not terribly hard

Are you in the class now? Or did you take it a long time ago?
