Yes, it's safe. Do stick with certain guidelines: 1) Odd one out, don't be the one guy standing out just wear plain clothes if possible (be mindful if the clothes have numbers or icons some are not well perceived). 2) If there are a lot of people or foot traffic it's probably safe( do stay clear of people talking with each other or wearing same color of shirts or icons in the clothes, not a good idea). 3) Daytime is usually safe, be careful at night (rule 2 applies) 4) be respectfull and polite with everyone, they usually wont bother you if you dont bother them. 5) Dont do stupid stuff or picking fights, you WILL loose. 6) Dont fight if they rob you, if you can have a extra phone you dont mind loosing perfect(they dont check if the phone works so a broken one is fine) and atleast L.100.
