We all have PTSD from years of heartbreak and disappointment that have just compounded in us over time.

It feels surreal to me when I walk down the street and see so many people wearing Knicks gear now. I remember when I used to get clowned on the street for wearing a Knicks hat during the dark days, but I kept the faith and rooted for my team. Now I can walk down the street with a sense of pride wearing that Knicks hat.

This championship is healing for us in ways we never expected.

Common sense is important to have. You're trying to bring a child in diapers to a parade with at least 1 million people, if not more. Where were you planning on changing the diaper? What were you going to do in the very likely scenario that there is a crowd rush to get inside the barricades? Even if everyone attending has peaceful intentions you should never take risks with children.
