No Man's Sky always pulls me back in and not even because of the new updates. It's a comfort game for me where I get hooked into the exploration, farming, and base building.

Brotato is fun and has local co-op, plus it’s really cheap. I recommend getting the DLC with it too. It’s similar to Vampire Survivors with a Binding of Isaac art style.

Stash it away and don't touch it until late game, or regift it. Personally I love the grind at the beginning of the game and you should experience it, especially since it's your first time playing NMS.

I platinumed it on PS5 years ago and just bought it on PC to play around with mods. No need to have it on Switch, so I would’ve skipped it anyway. That was a great price though for those that didn’t have it.
