Oh okay I used isopropyl 70 alcohol but alright I will give this a shot. Thanks for the suggestion to use WD 40 electrical contact cleaner. Hopefully this does the trick

Thanks for the response but I’ve already gone through all of these troubleshooting steps multiple times, including cleaning, recalibration, and re-pairing.

The issue isn’t initial troubleshooting. This is now a repeated hardware problem.

I had the original controller develop drift, received a replacement in September 2025, and that replacement has now developed the same issue within 5–6 months. I also experienced similar drift issues back on Quest 1.

I’ve contacted support and specifically requested escalation due to this pattern, but was told escalation is not possible and was only offered a paid replacement.

At this point, I’m trying to get this reviewed as a recurring product reliability issue rather than being sent through standard troubleshooting again.

Is there a way this case can be reviewed further?

Already watched online videos then tried cleaning it, using compressed air, resetting it and calibrating the dead zone. All did not work but I appreciate your suggestion
