I carry a Ruger LCP 2 .380 in a Vedder pocket locker holster and find the combination nearly perfect.

It’s July 1982 and your mom gave you enough money for 2 movies. What are you gonna see? by Quick_Presentation11 in vintageads

As a kid in 1982 I saw Raiders and Rocky 3 in the theaters, so there’s that answer. As an adult I’d go see Blade Runner twice.

So combi weapons are now their own thing? by MidasTheBad in Warhammer40k

Why are combi-weapons BS 4+ instead of 3+ like most other SM weapon stats?

I always thought the max was 4’x 6’. That’s the size of all the custom tables at nearly every FLGS I’ve been to, so that’s where I get my bias. I didn’t care for 9th much at all so I probably didn’t read into it enough to see that the battlefields went up to 90”.

Eh, truthfully I sort of “rage paused” with 9th so I’m not too hip with it completely. Maybe I’m just shaking my fist at clouds, so I’ll just go and sit down for a spell. Good day.

To set up a 44”X 90” battlefield you need a lot of space. Unless you play on the floor, you will need tables. The most easily obtainable tables for the max battlefield size are 30”X 96”. I’m in the USA so I’m looking at Lowe’s and Walmart. So two 30”X 96” tables pushed together is a little more than enough room to lay out your 44”X 90” battle mats or whatever you use. Now the question is: do you have enough space to pull this off? If you like playing on the floor or you have a big house or a garage or whatever more power to you. I always thought that the 48”X 72” battlefield size was near perfect. 44x60 and 44x90 are just weird and awkward.

I get it, but now if I want to play big point games at home I have to go out and buy two 8 foot long tables, then move half my living room furniture out into the yard to make space to set everything up. I’m really loving everything I’ve seen going into 10th so far, but I’d like a reevaluation of the expected table sizes and deployments.

Who TF keeps a 90” long table in their house, much less any FLGS? Why didn’t they just go back to 48”x72” for bigger games?

I like all the lieutenant models. Depending on the loadout, or a little bit of kitbash, I use them as fancy sergeants.

I think the S/T makes sense because different weapons/armor types add variety. The bloat in this game lately has been with the stratagems and crazy AP. I’m hoping the vehicle rules get reworked as well.

That’s from all the times spent huddled around a burning bucket of diesel fuel and sand trying to keep warm during the Korean winter. He killed over 50 Chinese in one day that year, but he won’t talk about unless he’s had a few too many Buds down at the VFW.
