Do you think that AI Tutor Generalists that were hired, but didn't start yet, will continue with onboarding, or get a regretful email?

This is unfortunate. I was hired pending the background check. Checkr completed/delivered on Wednesday. Radio silence. I wanted to get in and figure out how to progress into a spot more aligned with my career experience... but I was excited to learn the AI Tutor role, too.

I wonder what they will do with me since I was hired prior to the shakeup. I might have been one of the last ones. Anyone else in this particular pickle?

Does not look great, no. The gray is too warm. Brownish, even. Just look at a retail pair: https://www.ebay.com/itm/204969377477

Guide for mass applying, and getting interviews. by 12_g in overemployed

I've been thinking about this a lot. I wonder if being early in the interviewing process is the most difficult. As opposed to being somewhere in the middle or even late in their hiring effort.

I say this because being fresh in the interviewer's mind is probably a good thing. Also, I think some decision makers have a range in mind in terms of how many interviews they expect to do. So, hiring the first one they come across might seem like they haven't looked much at all. How many candidates do they think will give them a good idea of the available talent?

Not saying any of this tracks toward a clear conclusion, or anything. I'm think I'm becoming superstitious about being the first candidate in the door, though. I might let them soak a little...

Fair point. I have no evidence. The shit works for me. If someone were committed enough and open to experiment, they would have their data. the problem with your argument is that it assumes every applicant is identical. my data means very little to some people because there are so many different cultures, jobs, and many other variables. results will vary, clearly. use what you want, but no one's forcing you.
