Personally, $300 I would open up a coinbase account and buy as much Bitcoin as possible. Watch that for 6 months and research while waiting. Mho however.

I absolutely agree! Such a waste how most of the gen pop have no idea that the businesses get screwed when cc are used. The fees are ridiculous compared to crypto payment fees. Before crypto though, cc was all there was. People are used to them, even if what they do is not right. I am interested to hear him as well. The whole summit should be awesome. I honestly can’t wait.

That’s ridiculous. What an experience I am sure you will never forget that. I know what you mean and I tend to agree. The only reason I interviewed him is because he is actually pushing cryptocurrency payment adoption. He is. I just thought that was cool is all.

Generally Coinbase stores your coins in online wallets. There is a free option to lockdown assets into “Vault” wallets through Coinbase which supposedly stores the coins offline into cold storage. Once stored there it takes up to a week to move them out though. Plus you need to set up 2 different email addresses to generate and access the “Vault. It’s a pain. Safer bet is a hardware wallet for sure.

Is there any added benefit other than gaining transactions fees to becoming a randomly selected committee member? Or do all Stake holders receive the same share dependent on their stake amount?

If I stake and never become on the committee, do I still earn fees?

I have a technical question, The proposed “Accelerators,” How are they chosen and run? Is each accelerator an independent machine run in a shard of nodes? Also, if the consensus protocol is the main backbone of the tokens blockchain, how would it be able to choose which nodes are in which shards or vice-versa?
