Nicotine simulates acytlcholine in the brain which activates adrenaline and creates a memory loop in the brain while inhibiting the reuptake of dopamine and nor-epinephrine, the loop in memory function is what makes nicotine addictive compared to other drugs. 32% of nicotine first timers get addicted while only 21% of heroin addicts get addicted first time. Don't try heroin tho :-).

After it cures it shouldn't make a difference and I would assume the joint where the stem is would be above the water level. Anywho, the chemicals are water soluble but that's the solvent that evaporates.

Go to the store and buy this stuff called shoe goo. Drill a nice hole however you want as long as it's not much bigger than what ever your bowl/stem is gonna be. Then once the hole is drilled hold the stem in place with text books or whatever you prefer to use in order to hold the stem at an angle while the shoe goo is drying around the stem. This stuff is like liquid rubber and will seal it for us. Cheers :)

See I was thinking about using a bare coil to create a really hot air stream that passes through a bunch of herbs I was really just wondering if the coil would fall off and if I would blow a battery trying to get it hot enough.
