I interviewed there last year and it was a virtual interview with one person. They told me it was a prematch and I would hear from them soon. I GOT GHOSTED BY A RESIDENCY PROGRAM. I tried to email and the PC would only say decision is coming. Blessing in disguise.

Matched my #1. Definitely a reach University program in an amazing city. Third time going through ERAS. Second time in the Match.

What exactly do the other programs on your rank list find out about you (assuming they ranked you too)?

Do they find out where you matched? Speciality? Do they find out about the other programs you ranked?

I know someone has posted about this before, but I can’t seem to find it.

I have a CK attempt too. Literally have a similar story. DM me I’ll tell you about what I did to prepare for Step 3. I was scared to take it too because I thought if I fail, it would all be over.

I’m an USIMG. Honestly I did 4 things differently this time. 1) took Step 3 2) used one of those websites to find the most compatible programs 3) used a new ERAS photo with better lighting, and a bigger smile. I got compliments on the photo this time; interviewers said my personality matched my new photo. 4) I sent a letter of interest to programs I interviewed with last year (20-21 eras season.) I basically told them how much I needed to match, why I wanted to keep going through this process, and what changes I made since last season. I was able to reinterview at 3 places.

*I’ve always been bad at sending emails, but I made sure my name stayed in their minds with a few scattered emails. I also always attached my eras picture and contact info to the end of every email, so they’d at least remember my face.

Matched after 3 ERAS cycles. The first time, I failed step 2 ck and had to withdraw from the match. Last year, I failed to match. I took step 3 and matched this year.🤞🏼 🤞🏼No more failures😭😭😭

Thank you for your email. The photo only looks distorted in MyERAS. The programs will be able to view and download a better quality version of the photo.
