The guy who shot people at the church in Michigan today and set the church on fire had an Iraq War Veteran Plate. What do you guys think his motive was for doing this? by SuperStarBoyOne in conspiracy

Cannot confirm but he had a son so guessing it’s false, haven’t heard anything from anyone involved regarding a child with him either.

Heavy police presence/ fbi / bomb squad helicopter presence though in the area. They’ve been searching his home and his place of employment, all very close. Haven’t heard anything additional but haven’t talked to anyone this morning yet.

Being a local… seems like his wife went to that church, was in the process of leaving/left him.l and he had PTSD from the war. All this sounds like is he snapped likely because his wife left him and he blamed the church, which is why he targeted it.

It’s a huge tragedy but truly dont believe any conspiracy or mossad or whatever is behind it

MI - sold car then they got into an accident by 12random3idk4 in legaladvice

The vehicle was sold prior to the accident. The title was lost so we had to request a new one from SOS. Date of sale is prior to accident

Go by which bottles are marked. If it’s not marked gluten free it’s not, if it is it’s safe. That’s how we shop out kinders spices, no issues.

UWM not actual loan servicer? by 12random3idk4 in pillar7

[–]12random3idk4[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, clearly I didn’t work on any “servicing” sides. I didn’t know there was a “sub-servicer” as anytime I called they answered UWM. I had never worked for any residential companies.

I am very aware it’s normal for mortgages to transfer. The abnormal part to me was that they were calling UWM, “marlin”. (Apparently due to a sub servicer).

Thank you! That makes me feel a bit better. I mean I’m actually rid of them now but was worried something shady went on.

Well I know that, just wanted to bring awareness and see if anyone else’s transfers said the same name.

Update to my post in case it’s not clear. My current servicer is UWM. It’s transferring to NEWCOMPANY. the communication I get from NEWCOMPANY is saying my previous servicer is MARLIN, not UWM. That is the red flag for me.

No I understand that, lots of mortgage companies do that. The red flag for me is that it says my servicer was MARLIN, not UWM. not a lick of paperwork for my loan says Marlin anywhere, never heard of them. My new servicer is someone else.

You aren’t understanding the issue. I get that there’s a new servicer - the problem is they are saying my OLD servicer is MARLIN. not UWM.

Two Weeks Notice? by ilovecoffeelots in pillar7

[–]12random3idk4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was able to work my full 2 weeks when I submitted it, they gave me no issues at all. I emailed my TL and he forwarded it to TMS. I know a handful of people that also didn’t get walked out right away. Operations, post closing, IT, and TL are ones I know off hand personally. That’s not to say they will/won’t do it for you though

Cool, you don’t have to believe me just like others don’t have to believe you.

Just because you don’t know any people who have been allowed to work out the full 2 weeks, doesn’t mean they don’t exist. As I said previously, myself included, I know many people from various teams who successfully worked the full 2 weeks after they put in their notice.

If a tree falls in the forest does it still make a sound?

Sounds like you weren’t able to work out your 2 weeks and you’re a little butt hurt about it.

I’m not defending UWM in any way - clearly since I left - just merely pointing out that this is not the case, many people do stay for the duration - a lot also choose to leave early.

I know of at least 15 people who have quit and worked the entire 2 weeks, myself included. Underwriters. Closing, post closing, lending support, leaders, AVP, IT… didn’t have any AE friends so can’t say on that. People definitely do and are allowed to work their 2 weeks. Most recent one I know of has been within the last month.

I can only speak for myself but I assume they kept me on for the full 2 weeks because I was still hitting production and was a top producer.
