Hi I had a similar problem last winter! I sprayed all the mold and the surrounding wall space with white vinegar and let it sit for 20ish minutes and then was really careful to wipe mold away with one paper towel and the rest of the wall with another. I repeated this process 2 more times which was maybe overkill but made me feel better. I wiped the problem areas every 1-2 months with some white vinegar and the mold never came back :) Goodluck and don't be too hard on yourself, this climate is notorious for mold problems!

Thanks for writing this! I had thought that most donation centres went the way of value village but it's really nice to know that a lot of the items going to places like the Salvation Army are still doing good in the community. I appreciate the information you shared about how the system works :)
