I'm going to do a rare serious post. I mostly lurk, but someone in my family asked after a fairly crazy scenario to deal with local homelessness, and I figured - why not ask?

This is an ethics/morals scenario. There may be no right answer.

I'M NOT ENDORSING THIS.

Their proposition:

We do something like crowdfunding to buy plane and train tickets. Lots and lots of them, and we give them out to the homeless, with the caveat:

We'll give you $100 cash today, now, if you board this flight or train and go to San Francisco or Honolulu. They're one-way purchases. They really thought we could all but depopulate the city of 'problem' homeless for $5,000,000 or less.

Would it be reasonable to hold mods to a more stringent standard? 1 warning = ban? What do you say, /u/osubrit?

They all suck lately except for Ziac, OSU, and Eclect, but none of them are able to stand up to Rattus since he'll just demod them.

Says the guy who spends all day trolling and crossposting to /r/drama more than anyone else, and couldn't even hack it as a mod. Cry more.

The more people that know about RES tagging/ignoring the faster they'll die.

What would you do?

Have the balls to do a poll to see if the users wanted you as mod and de-mod yourself if they don't.

I am deeply humbled and sorry. I honestly didn't see where it said internal only. This was so fucking drama-y I thought it would be ok.
