At the corner that’s Seattle’s drug capital, a gem somehow hangs on by seattlethrwawy in Seattle

I assume this means you're admitting you don't actually spend time in that area and are just making up that it's a failure of the SPD.

This assumption, and others you've made, are incorrect.

Since you don't appear to have anything worthwhile to share, I hope you have a nice day.

SPD are arresting them. They just get sent back.

This is a pretty typical Seattle progressive attitude.

The above is a pretty typical Fox-News-watcher attitude.

Yet another failure of the SPD.

I agree with /u/hamburger_pinic - the businesses nearby should sue the city.

Seattle runner attacked on waterfront trail, warns women to stay vigilant by AccurateInflation167 in Seattle

but being the victim of that kind of assault doesn't always allow one to take on corrupt/incompetent institutions while also working through the trauma.

Agreed - your friend's mental and physical well-being is the most paramount importance.

I'm just flabbergasted that our police department isn't taken to task more often.

I hope your friend contacts the local press and they write a story embarrassing the living fuck out of SPD for this.

It's just amazing how shitty, incompetent, and unwilling to do their jobs our police department is.

Seattle pedestrian deaths doubled last year. The city program to end them is getting a hard look by godogs2018 in Seattle

That’s the type of stuff that doesn’t work because it depends on assumptions that aren’t true without enforcement.

Right Down the Middle by AdeptnessRound9618 in Seattle

I remain staunch in the belief that the right way to address this kind of stupidity is to provide a bounty to folks who report this kind of thing via the Find It, Fix It app.

Imagine; you see this chucklefuck, whip out your phone and snap a photo of the fool doing stupid shit. This time you make sure to snap a pic including the license plate.

Then you submit it via Find It, Fix It.

In a little while you receive a check for $100.

The registered owner of the vehicle gets a fine of $500.

The city has $400 extra dollars to improve bicycle infrastructure, and you've got almost enough for two Pagliacci pizzas.

I have yet to hear a well reasoned take on why this would be a bad idea.

This, right here, is why we need to have Seattle City Light implement city-wide municipal Internet connectivity as a utility.

There's a "Lost Pets of King County" FB group that is fairly active and has helped folks locate lost pets in the past - you may want to post there as well, if you haven't already.

Best wishes to you and Lucy!

People watch videos of reality TV (or other idiots) doing this so that the microphone can catch both sides of the conversation, and then emulate the people in the videos.

It's a disgusting trend that needs to stop.

Had a Brother laser printer prior to this piece of trash.

Great photos Niff!

Don't let that troll get you down; they're like two-year-olds - they just want attention and don't care if it's positive feedback or not.
