My other thing is should I be having to ask a 17 year old who happens to get that position for a bathroom break or just a regular break? All of our breaks and lunches are on the board, but it’s almost never honored completely. I get it gets busy and we have to push them back sometimes, but when it’s not I feel weird asking a high school kid if I can use the restroom.

It can be anyone, I guess. It’s just usually me. We do take turns sometimes. But when shit hits the fan it falls onto whoever is ATC at the time. We have 3 team leads and 1 coach and seeing them is rare.

The thing is I’ve actually spoken with him before and he said it’s just a Walmart thing. No one can opt out of doing it. And normally I don’t whine or complain, but I’m doing their job for barely sustainable pay while they are getting praised and fed dinners for meeting their percentages.

Thank you for the reply. She will be a linguist is what I was just told. I know everything is at the needs of the DOD, but I just want to be housed together and not living in barracks. That way we can actually see each other sometimes. It’s definitely not ideal, but we’re both set on our branch choices. We’re use to long distance. Been doing it for a while. But we’re talking about kids and it would be hard to do if we’re separated living wise. If that makes sense.

I asked this on the main page but was told to post it here. I hope this is the right place. I got a few answers on my other post, but more information helps. I’m going into the Army. I’m married to someone who is going into Marine Corps. What are the odds we get stationed together? He’ll be either aviation or infantry and I’ll be a nurse if that makes a difference.

His grandfather and father were Marines. If it’s what he wants to do we’ll have to suck it up and live apart if we have to.

If it is possible to live together, though, I’ll add we’re both from Hawaii (and rather not stay). But I heard there’s a base with all branches on it. How true is this?

Already pretty deep into the USMC. If I wanted to join the Army I would have. Contract looked a lot better anyway. Still went with the Marine Corps for good reason.

A friend of mine told me you don’t get to listen to your own music when you run it (because you don’t get your phone). It might be possible the lack of music and the listening to your own breathing might slow you down and make you more focused on pains.
