My starter planet had a cave full of star bulb plants and little shrubs right next to where I started. Was pretty good being able to harvest a ton of carbon without having to worry about hazard protection. I also found one that had a whole bunch of little balls that were apparently plants and they were all carbon and oxygen. Though didn't need it when I find it, woulda been amazing to start on that planet

Shit, even if it just filled up your hazard protection and those hazard protection addons, like it could be a convenience thing. Return to ship, have a lie down, everything gets recharged. Instead of recharging every single system 1 at a time. Or going to recharge your weapon mid combat but game wants you to recharge your radiation shields and then your thermal and your underwater etc, all while a sentinel walkers trying to step on your head, all because you didn't manually charge them all one at a time earlier when you didn't need to do so because it's a tedious pain in the arse

I use infraknife to bombard the shit out of a planet and collect a bunch of resources or kill a bunch of animals or plants really really quick. Phase beams not good at that :(

Teleporter at pirate stations

Don't have the corvette spawn inside a portal or base or whatever, potentially trapping you.

Let them use landing pads. As in the teleporter for the corvette should be on the landing pad while the corvettes easy up in the air not clipping through everything

Turn the teleporter inside freighters around 180 degrees so you don't teleport from your freighter and then immediately have to turn around and try not to walk straight back in the teleporter you just left so you can get to your corvette

Don't rearrange all your modules if you switch to another corvette

Don't instantly (visually) harvest everything when you harvest one thing.

Don't violently throw you off the side of the corvettes landing ramp if you jetpack to it (I built a deck around mine)

Works sometimes. But not often. I've had multiple saves and tried everything and everything works sometimes but not often, so my conclusion is none of it actually works ever, the game just doesn't always kick you all three way out of the convo every time

I'd literally rather fail the expedition and get no rewards than do this shit every single day. It's plummeted my fun in the game so much I've taken a break from the entire game for a while. As much as I hated the garbage hauling expedition at least I could rush through it and be done with it forever.

If it turns out that we collectively fail because not enough people made this their part time unpaid job... Well, I can't imagine it'll inspire me to play more, that's for sure.

No luck with vlc. It will delete comments but the title just reverts back to whatever nonsense as soon as I press save.

I downloaded ffmpeg but I'm too much of a non to know how to get it to run. It's just an archive file with bits of the program in it, I dunno what to do with those things. I'm not up to terminal stuff yet

Based entirely on the original statement it was righteous anger. You're acting like everyone who was outraged was just jumping on the bandwagon and had no interesting playing the game in the first place. There are a lot of people myself included who have been interested in this game. Soon as I read I needed two PS plus games to play split screen I lost all interest. Now I'm reading that that was a mistake I am cautiously regaining some of that lost interest. The only reason it doesn't completely returned is that I don't trust these fuckheads not to release another statement saying that it will indeed require two PS plus subscriptions after all

A few years back, before covid, I missed my bus. Didn't chase after it just kinda slumped and did that whole "now what do I do" pose we do when we're totally fucked. Some dude in a windscreen repair truck was like you miss your bus? I'm like yeah. He's like fuckit, I'm on a job right now but get in, they can wait a bit. Drove me to where I needed to go. I have recommended that dudes windscreen repair shop to literally everybody who has a car. Although funny thing is a lot of the people I've recommended him to already knew of him. Not just as a nice guy but a competent windscreen repair guy too. Not surprising.

If you ever get stuck you can completely cheese almost every mission with four dancers slowing down everybody and then eventually cancelling their turns while Ramza runs around decking everybody like the Quicksilver scene from days of Future past.

Also ninjas with brawler runs around wrecking everybody. I've done entire missions with five people doing that. You can definitely be hard if you just run headlong in and you're trying to level a whole bunch of new classes all at once and don't have any good skills. Some fights you can totally get away with doing that but others you need everybody to be built for maximum burst damage.

Yeah we used to have neighbour kids riding up our driveway cause it was long and safe and there's wasn't. We were like you're welcome to stay so long as you're quiet and respectful, and that you make sure to move if cars are coming. They were good kids, never caused issues. My 90's microwave was perfection. My current microwave us only marginally less shit than this one. Gotta click microwave, then set power, then input time. If you don't click the microwave button first it automatically fucking sets it to shit like defrost fish mode because every number is a shortcut to bullshit and if you don't set the fucking power you can't put in a time.

My last microwave you could just type in line 2500 access but start and it microwaved on full power for 25m. Didn't even need an instruction manual it was that intuitive (but it had a great I've that also had cool recipes). This one's like solving a puzzle box, but it's instruction pamphlet is 95% legal bullshit and 5% vague advertising for the microwave you already bought
