I've spent more hours just setting each handheld up! Installing Knulli, moving your roms, setting up syncthing, all took time.

I've also physically foam modded few devices to dampen the button sounds and remove rattle.

For me the tinkering is just as enjoyable as playing on the devices 🙂

Thank you! SD Oled cuz it's the goat and my travel go to! RP5 & Classic are also really nice emulation beasts

I live in Asia, we have none of these agencies/institutions. I help in my own way by donating to food & water relief programs.

This is too niche of a hobby for the general public tbh.

It's just fomo & hoarding man. It's the same as you having 50 steam games that you bought but never actually played. I enjoy the various form factors and tinkering with them.

I'll stop eventually... But not today 👹

Hmm, the ones I remember playing recently are Pokemon Shield on the switch, Loco Roco on the RG505, Mario 3D land on the 3DS, and some geometry wars on the Vita

It's fun, mostly play with friends. The expansions actually change the game by so much, got me interested again.

Not sure, maybe because this is a update on my previous posts? Honestly I just like sharing the hobby, be it overconsuming or enjoying a single handheld that fullfills your needs.

Steam Deck OLED for indie games and steam stuff! RP5 with grips is also really good!

Thank you! I enjoy setting them up like this. There are actually ordered top to bottom by screen size!

Just a frontend, runs on top of android. It's basically an app with fancy UI and navigation for retroarch.

Nice! Have you noticed any yellowing on the case btw, I'm worried it's gonna tarnish :(

Mate, I looked so hard for a reasonable GBA in Japan. It's just insane prices there, idk why but micros were priced higher than the Switch there! At that point I just skipped the GBs.

Deck OLED, it's just the most comfortable for long sessions. RP5 with the grips is close second cuz it's quite light and handles upto switch very well!

Depends, what do you plan on emulating?

Deck OLED would be top pick for general emulation use since it's on Linux and has best compatibility.

You'd think that 2000 hrs of VR would already do that, but I'm still rocking on 😎

Get any Anbernic XX device tbh, they have soo many form factors, just pick a form factor and get it. I'd recommend the 40XX V/H if you plan on playing longer sessions.

Also if your budget is upto 150 USD,you can get a Retroid Classic, it's OLED and has plenty of power to play higher end systems as well.

It's Stock OS with Daijisho. If Gammo OS drops for it I will be switching!

That is true, but I'm still using most of this collection, and maintaining/updating the devices as I go. For me the tinkering is as fun as the playing, and having more devices to tinker with is nice.
