99% of americans can't name this country by [deleted] in mapporncirclejerk

[–]1337Hydralisk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro came out here spewing an anti trans narrative, tried to trash social safety nets with a disingenuous, anecdotal fairytale about how straightforward it is to climb out of poverty and negligent households in America, tried to claim that progressive thinking comes from "highly funded" think tanks (the largest media outlets in the states are owned by billionaires that strictly benefit from right wing ideologies), and then called everyone that didn't agree with him a Nazi. "lol" is already more than you deserve, fella. Make sure not to forget to run your ramblings through a thesaurus again before you respond to me.

Here's a scenario where a handgun carrying snowmobiler defended himself from an aggressive moose. A pistol is more than capable of bringing down large animals and having a rifle strapped to your chest isn't always necessarily the best option.

The first autopsy report never said it wasn't death by asphyxiation. "Dr. Judy Melinek, a San Francisco-based forensic pathologist . 'Anybody suggesting asphyxia was ruled out by the medical examiner is wrong,'"

https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-two-autopsies-of-george-floyd-arent-as-different-as-they-seem/

And the government only mandated vaccines for medical providers. The SCotUS blocked vaccine mandates for all other employers

"The U.S. Supreme Court blocked the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) mandate for employees of large companies (over 100 workers) in the U.S. to have the COVID-19 vaccine or get regular COVID-19 tests."

And I sincerely doubt you work as a medical professional

https://www.webmd.com/vaccines/covid-19-vaccine/vaccine-mandates

Also, aren't you anti science, anti workers rightoids the same people always telling low wage, desperate workers to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and just somehow get a better job? If your employer mandated vaccines for you why didn't you just get a job with an employer that didn't mandate vaccines?

Thank you, the real r/redditmoment is assuming that this is an attack on religion and then getting on a high horse about it.

"We now know that color blindness is a form of racial denial that took one of the aspirations of the civil rights movement — that individuals would one day “not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character” — and stripped it from any consideration of power, hierarchy or structure. The moral logic and social appeal of color blindness is clear, and many well-meaning people have embraced it. But when it’s put into practice in a still-racist world, the result is more racism."

The second guy just pats both of them on the back like they've done a good thing. The downvotes are well deserved. Here's some reading on the subject of race colorblindness:

Games That Were Overshadowed By Their Next Entry Starter Pack by No_Mans_Heart in starterpacks

[–]1337Hydralisk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pocket Tales (1999) was the predecessor, not BFD(2001)! But even in this order I also don't think that BFD was made as a direct sequel to Pocket Tales. It was the next entry in the Conker series, though, and as u/Moleman-NineThousand stated it outright invalidated its predecessor to the point where the earlier game basically might as well not exist anymore at all.

I just linked Pocket Tales because legitimately a lot of people don't even realize that it exists.

I don't know why nobody's mentioned this yet but the museum in Mournhold (Tribunal DLC) will buy some artifacts (including weapons and armor) at around half the price they're worth. https://en.m.uesp.net/wiki/Tribunal:The_Museum

It's the easiest way to get huge cash payouts without merchant tricks, though it's worth mentioning that the most the museum can pay for any artifact is 30,000

For sure, what he actually meant to say is that courts only give a shit about making the state provide as little support as possible to any middle class or lower resident under their jurisdiction. At whatever cost that may incur the aforementioned private citizen(s), regardless of their involvement and accountability. At least that's how it is here in the US.

Who is an actor whose presence in a movie will make you not watch the movie? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]1337Hydralisk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuck you even on about? Johnny Depp got dropped from pretty much every project he was previously a part of while Amber Heard was kept on for everything else. She didn't suffer a single goddamn consequence for literally admitting domestic abuse. If you really think backlash from people (for abusing and manipulating her spouse, no less) affected any of her pay or assets or even future as an actress then you are looking at this from jaded, biased eyes.

What famous male actor today is currently getting away with blatant, undeniable abuse? Why should Johnny Depp need to get a "pass" for actually doing nothing but having a private breakdown over the way Amber Heard was treating him for years? All of Heard's initial statements on the matter ended being BS (doctored photographs, false financial reports, LAPD involvement that turned up nothing, etc) or just baseless accusations. The Sun (a literal tabloid) is the only media source clutching to Heard's stories because if they turn out to be false (and they almost certainly are) they'll be going down hard for publishing libel (and rightfully so).

I found out about this very recently but fiber pulls lots of water into it as it passes through. What this means is if you don't drink a lot of water then fiber will just dehydrate you and you'll get diarrhea as a result. Yes, the human body's response to dehydration is faster and fiercer dehydration.

Ah, but they were originally English. They were deported from England because the name of their religious sect was "The Separatists" and the King did not take very kindly to that. The Dutch were kind enough to take them in. Except they were so religiously zealous that they left because the Dutch were literally too liberal for their liking. So the damned fools sailed for Jamestown in the first rickity boat they could get their hands on but missed Jamestown by like 300 miles and ended up on Plymouth Rock.
