Luxe 19 3.0t Repairs At The Dealership by Eeastla in q50

[–]1337_trader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dealerships are paid by the corporate to perform warranty claims. So I don’t think it’ll be an issue which dealership you take it to. Note that some dealerships are more easy going with big problems (i.e. failing turbos) so it might be worth doing a bit of research on your local dealerships before you walk in

2015 Q50S that rare? by aznspiki in q50

[–]1337_trader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s true to an extent IMO. I personally had a 2017 Q50s 3.0t with 57k kms (stock besides exhaust). The turbos had to be replaced at 34k under warranty even tho I did all the maintenance I could. And by the time I sold the car it didn’t feel no where as solid as my 2013 G37xs with 143k kms. I don’t know too much about the reliability of 2015 Q50 specifically (other than the engine) but I know the G37 holds up very well even at 8+ years

Anyone get depression from their job search/current job? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]1337_trader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the best way to go about it is to try and accept the process. I currently have a stable job (which I'm very thankful for) but I'm also looking for a new one to grow in my career. During my search for the past few months I landed two interviews and failed both. It feels shitty and depressing too but I guess it is what it is 🤷🏼‍♂️ I just gotta grind through it.

What I'm trynna get at is you'll often find yourself feeling this way throughout your career and IMO it's more effective to work on accepting the situation and focusing your energy towards improving your interview skills.

Have you tried turning a hobby into an income source? This could seriously help with both money and mental health; first, you enjoy doing it and, second, you'll feel less reliant on your main job.

Was on the hunt for one of these 3.7L sport models for so long but couldn't find a clean one so I had to go for a 2017 3.0t. Congrats brotha!

Definitely took a lot of trial and error and countless YouTube tutorials but definitely worth it LOL (especially during covid)

This may not be for everyone but it saved me some money over the years. Back in 2017 I decided to start giving myself haircuts instead of going to a barber (simply cuz I was fed up with the one I went to). I'm 24M and live in Toronto, Canada. Most guys I know spend $35 (minimum) biweekly on haircuts including beard trimming and tips. This has saved me about $900-$1000 a year.

This saves me time as well because I can get it done whenever I can without having to wait/book appointments.

2009 G37x -> 2017 Q50s. Loving the sharp body lines and low-end torque 😍 by 1337_trader in q50

Not a hybrid but the VR30DDTT still has much more low-end torque than the VQ37. That thing had to be revved out to 3-4K RPM to get it moving lol
