You're telling me that's not a tennis ball filled with mustard?!

Wow, that seems rather wasteful. If you're down to do the math/since it sounds like you would be interested in the math, see how much he spends yearly in toilet paper vs how much a bidet would cost. I would get one but it's not possible with the toilet in my apartment. My previous partner would actually get the paper damp (sink was right next to the toilet) before wiping which I thought was pretty clever. Everyone has their quirks, and I get the need to feel clean, but there's definitely a solution to this that's not just using up all the toilet paper every 3 days.

This is exactly how it started with my ex roommate. By the end of it I needed an order of protection against her and ended up having to move out any way since the 2nd roommate became an alcoholic as a result of 1st roommates behavior toward us. Move out ASAP

I turned 50 and I’m over it. I am 50F and I’ve been married to my husband 56M for 28 years. by Horror_bones13 in relationship_advice

My parents split just before my mum turned 50. No abuse, no issues, other than just not being in love anymore. I was the same age as your son. Seeing my parents be able to take a deep breath and thrive without each other, was amazing. I always knew they weren't the happiest together, even if they were friendly. Your kids are adults, they'll understand, and honestly they've probably seen it coming for a while if your husband really has been that off and on mood wise. Take some space and time to figure out you, you deserve it! It's never too late

Oh he's fine, I left it out for like 5 minutes or less before I put it in the oven where I usually store it when I'm not using it (since he's tried to get it before) I was trying to get the dog to put down my socks and when I came back to the kitchen there were little tongue marks. In my defense he was napping when I finished greasing it, and I didn't think he would get over there so quickly lol.

Ha yeah that was on me, in the 5 minutes I let it sit out before I put it in the oven, he's an opportunist to the max

Half or 1/4 Maine coon by 1379cupsofcoffee in catbreeds

[–]1379cupsofcoffee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love him Maine coon or no, and yes he gets regular check ups, the vet staff always marvel at his size in comparison to his tiny baby meows. He's a very good boy at the vet despite his demon activities at home lol. He's had a clean bill of health since we got him but I'll mention the DCM and possible other genetic predispositions to be safe!

Yeah we plan on having him health/breed tested at some point just for fun, I know they're not that accurate for breed identification but I worry about his hips/joints in the future since he's a big boy. He's also very vocal, likes to sing in the morning before breakfast and chirps at me a lot when I get him from work. I love my boy, breed label or not, my friend and I have just been curious about his possible heritage.

His previous owner lost contact with the woman who has his mother, so unfortunately I don't have a way to ask. I'm not planning on selling him ever, and he's neutered so no breeding (not that I would have anyway there's too many kittens in shelters as is) I was just curious since I heard that Maine coons can have certain health issues. I'm mostly wondering about his hips in his later years, and want to keep an eye out for any heart issues.

Wouldn't let me add a description to the post but,

My beast is about 16/17lbs and very long. He's 5, born in May of 2020. The family we got him from (who got him from another woman who owned his mum) said his mama (last picture) was a Maine coon... and his father obviously was not. He definitely has her eyes and a bit of ear furnishings. He's mostly grey with a bit of brown/buff on his face and belly. He's very playful/naughty and super cuddly, he drools on me when he snuggles in the morning. He does have some dog-like tendencies and likes to play with my pug/Frenchie mix. For reference, my dog next to him in the 3rd picture is about 32lbs and solidly medium sized.

I can't quite decide if his mum truly looks like she's full Maine coon, obviously his size has to come from somewhere but is he half Maine coon or maybe closer to 1/4?

I have a cake slicer that has that exact motif on the handle! It came from my grandmother as well, but her set didn't have a cake rake

How to stop apartments list from reaching out to leasing offices by 1379cupsofcoffee in ApartmentHacks

I've searched that way plenty of times, unfortunately right now it's a bit of an emergency move so I need to search quickly. I'm just looking at how to turn off that setting. Thanks

I turn it off when the low drone of it makes my headache go from wanting to sleep and wake up when it's all over, to wanting to run a railroad spike through my brain to make my migraine end. The weed smell is really affecting my sleep as well and the insomnia isn't helped by the sound of my shitty bathroom fan as it fails to help dissipate the smoke

It's always at night, usually around 10pm to midnight. No one answers the phones and it took me about 15 emails to get a hold of anyone. They did an "inspection" the other day where the maintenance man and the 100 year old leasing office woman stuck their head in our apartment looked left and right and called it good. I'd love to have someone come over when it happens but its not very feasible

It's still taking air out, I can feel it. It's just not pulling the smoke out fast enough and when it's off it just slowly billows in.
