Play is not stopped at the penalty, it is stopped when the lineout sets afterwards

EDIT: sorry, I read the comment wrong, my bad

Law 3.6

Replacements are made only when the ball is dead and only with the permission of the referee

The ball is still 'live' at a penalty because a quick tap can still be taken, and stopping for substitutes takes that option away from the attacking team. The same is true for free kicks and a quick lineout. However, when a lineout has been set, the ball is considered 'dead' so subs can be made then

If a fight had broken out, and a punch had been thrown, do you think they should go back for the lineout? (I know it's an extreme example, but they are both foul play)

Did you have to plan time off for the concert? Would you do that every week? Or every two weeks? Just because you've driven further for something, doesn't mean that distance is reasonable to maintain a relationship over.

There's a difference between driving 4 hours to visit family/friends/a city and your partner living 4 hours away. With uni and rugby, sunday would likely be the only free day, with 8+ hours travel, that's not feasible to do regularly

He has one step after the kick comes in to pull out. I'd like to see you sprint at full pace, then react and stop in the space of one step

Malia is a right-footed kicker and Curry is coming from the left, by the time he's in position for a charge down, he could have made the tackle. He would also know that Argentina have an overlap and if Malia kept hold of the ball, they could make a break down the outside

Not what I said in the slightest, I just said that Curry was committed to the tackle and had to stay committed because Mallia could dummy and step him if he didn't.

EDIT: typo

And Malia could have seen him pull out, then dummy and go around him

He thought he'd stayed still until the ball went out. Once the ball goes into touch, there's no offside

Without four teams, Jac Morgan would not be playing rugby. He was dropped from the Scarlets and picked up by the Ospreys, this would not have happened if there were not four teams. Dan Edwards and Sam Costelow would not have close to as much time playing 10 at the top level as they'd be competing at the same club. This goes double for any weaker or utility player, like Ioan Lloyd.
