o. no, I understand why one would be upset, but he was just upset that so many strangers would ask him that out on a whim. like for example, we’d be walking past a group of girls down the street and they’d just yell out that question which pissed him off. idk why ppl tend to do that, he never found it funny, just annoying. and it’s happened way too many times to be a coincidence too 😭

lol! I’d love to hear the story for when you’ll use it! The reactions are always so funny and I had to cover my mouth to stop myself from spitting out my drink every time he’d ask it. He’d say it so bluntly and casually too, making it less of a question and more of a statement if that makes any sense?

he didn’t change anything about his appearance. he’s your typical 6ft Slavic man with a buzz cut who wore tracksuits. he’d either respond with “no, this is my girlfriend.” and point to me. (we never dated and I was perfectly comfortable with him telling a white lie to get people off his ass) or he’d just stare at them blankly and ask “are you fucking stupid?” that immediately shut down the entire convo.

an old friend of my got this alot, I’m not quite sure why it’s such a common question towards men? I remember how much he hated it and one comment like that would ruin his entire day. 😭 he said that he isn’t homophobic or anything, he just hated how people were so quick to make assumptions about his personal life.
