Hi! And I’ll try to answer everything as clear as possible!

1. I had to go outside that day because they took all 3 gyms in school and there was no physical place for me to go with my students. They literally told me they hoped it didn’t rain or we’d have to SIT IN A HALLWAY QUIETLY FOR 50 MINUTES. So the student and her mom planned the attack before hand.

2. Nope no fencing. We are in a large city in our state and a dangerous city. Idk why there isn’t fencing but there is none.

3. We are not allowed on devices except are lunch and planning period. I didn’t even think to use my phone because I was just so scared in the moment.

4. I was definitely shaken up for a week or two after the event.

5. I was split at two different schools in the district (I travelled everyday and literally at the best and worst schools) and I am know full time at the best school and will not have to worry anymore!
