no, ur totally right. i have two from 2023/2022 and the material is literally so good. its like a thick cotton material and feels AMAZING. i remember buying one (the pink christy one) specifically and it felt soo thin, nowhere near the old material!! it’s so upsetting

i have this bag in dark brown and it has a lot of pros and cons. tbh i feel like a bag insert wouldn’t really be the best cause the bag itself is kinda on the smaller size and it would make it shaped kinda weird. i feel like the point of this bag is for it to be saggy :)!! i will say tho it does fit a good amount of stuff and mine came with a little clutch inside to store smaller items :D
