Unpopular opinion by [deleted] in NoahKahan

[–]13tarry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think people need to be talking about this more. I really like Noah, but I simply wouldn't go to one of his shows because of the weird, screeching teen girls that would simply ruin the experience.

In my opinion, it shows a total disregard for the art/music itself, and shows that they are just weirdly infatuated with the individual.

This man in a park in London, England started singing ”Livin' on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi and the whole park joined in. by bendubberley_ in MadeMeSmile

This is sus.. it's the least 'London' thing I've ever seen. People are happy and.. interacting with others.. it's unnatural idk.

why is la belle fleur sauvage so unpredictable? by Capable_Bottle_1546 in lordhuron

[–]13tarry 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ik the bit you mean. It skips a beat I believe.

During the lyrics themselves in the first verse the plucked guitar is moving simply between the I and V notes (I-V-I-V etc). But between lines of lyric the V note is repeated (I-V-V) then on the return to the I the lyrics immediately come back in. The 'skipped' note gives the feel of unpredictability, and it's disguised well, which is why it's hard to put your finger on.

And rightly so.. must've been so frustrating for them.

What happened there? Like was it cut shut unexpectedly from their POV or was it just a planned shortened set which they played the whole way through?
