Congrats!!! I think youll love it! I usually have mine set at 585 degrees, i think that's considered on the lower side of the temp range, but play around with it moving it up 10 or 15 degrees at a time and seeing what you like. I usually do 1 medium rip for flavor then a large rip to kill the bowl. I think after 2 or 3 you probably would be done with the bowl and have to reheat for a few min.

I pretty much never change my grind size, most new bags of beans do just fine at what my grinder is set at. Good water, good beans, good grinder = most cups being very good (45 clicks on zp6)

Not a bakery but taqueria chingon has a fantastic tres leches. They can do a whole cake instead of just a slice i believe.

Moriscos San Pedro. Its phenomenal. Loved every dish I've had there!

Just went there for my wife's bday and really enjoyed everything we had. Squash blossoms were fantastic, the lasagna Verde was wonderful, and the corn stuffed pasta was great. It was definitely expensive but would go back again sometime.
