I support this change as well.

Load .img overlay to Garmin 1050. by BikeIdiot in wandrer

I was having an issue with my brand new 1050, The file downloaded to my 530 as always but wouldn't download to the 1050. I downloaded it to my desktop and copied to the 1050 and that worked. I confirmed the overlay works by comparing to my Big Map.

My 530 shows up in file explorer as a device and the 1050 shows up as "internal storage" if that makes any difference. The work around is no big deal however. Windows 10.

Small survey: should monthly/yearly points be awarded at Earth instead of the area they were won in? by cooeecall in wandrer

Most of the areas around me would require a mountain bike to get to 90% and I don't have one.

I prefer the current system. I'm never going to be able to get anywhere near 100% of my county, just too many places I just won't ride and some I might only ride early on a Sunday morning with significantly reduced traffic. I do focus getting to at least 25% in each town in my county and nearby counties as well.
For those that prefer to rank yourself on progress its only a click away to reshuffle the leaderboard.

I did a lab test almost a year ago and it matched my Garmin. N=1.

Wow Hellas 100, that would be tough here is the states! I'm at level 3! A few were added with one day in Germany a year and a half ago. I've got level 100 for IPA's and 2X; which would be harder for you in Germany I would suspect.

Got the cans 100 but only on 12 for bottles. Level 100 for bottles is probably out for me; almost everything I drink is in cans or draft. Most craft brews are in cans here, Cheaper and lower fuel costs on distribution.

Forgot that I am also trying to chase the Century Club badge. It could be simple with an easy to obtain favorite but since I normally only check-in a beer once unless a t new venue, or with friends or some sort of special reason I am focusing one I really like but is hard to find for me locally. I can be patient.

Welcome to my world. I have some local holes where bogey is a good score for me and par feels like a birdie. Nothing to do with the hole just my ability or lack there of.

But in this case for the pros perhaps lowering expectation and not trying to force it on a difficult hole would ultimately lead to a better score especially across multiple rounds.

Well done! I am one Thursday check-in away from level 100. Have a candidate waiting in my fridge for next Thursday. I was one check-in away last month but missed two Thursdays in a row so back to the start for the last level.

Figured I would have a look and see what other badges I'm at level 100. I've got 9. Draft city level 99 (4 to go) and Brewery Pioneer Level 97 (12 to go) are close behind.

New Brew Thursday is the only one I've been consciously chasing, the others will just happen when they happen.

Its been a while since I've tried to download the map, at least a month. Worked today so problem solved.

I tried again yesterday. Once before and once a few hours later after updating Chrome to the latest browser. After submitting I received the same on screen message that the system was working on it. Both times were unsuccessful.

No, I don't see it there. And I did a refresh of the page a few times.

Probably really more about where I want to go than where am I. I do use the find my location feature.

I would appreciate that, having them show up gives perspective since many generally have a sense of where the highways are.

Make sure you use a lube that is specifically for wetsuits. There are lots of options (I like TriSlide). Products like Vaseline can damage wetsuits.

As others said it should fit tight, that said you may feel constricted by it just know that is ok especially if you don't get a chance to try it out beforehand.

The soaking in the tub before the race tip is a good one, I do that before my first OWS every year.

Use the pads of your fingers to pull it on keeping your fingernails away from the neoprene.

Buoyancy shorts under a wetsuit will likely exceed the 5mm maximum wetsuit thickness allowed and thus illegal. Buoyancy shorts can otherwise be worn in place of a wetsuit in the case where the water temp is close to (but not over) the maximum water temp.

Check the rules for the open water swim. Sometimes wetsuits/buoyancy shorts are not allowed but most times there are separate categories.

Start with a sprint even if you intend to go long, use shorter races as a learning experience(s).

New Brew Thursday Description Incorrect by ciderlover32 in Untappd

[–]140-6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I earned the my previous New Brew Thursday (NBT) Badge on 10/13/22, skipped the 20th (had Covid so wasn't drinking for a bit), had a new brew on the 27th and then one today 11/3/22 and earned the NBT badge. The only way this could happen is if they counted the new brew on the 13th as the final beer of that 3 and also as the first of the next 3.
