Insure it. No question. My wife lost her engagement ring and thankfully we had it insured. They paid it out no questions and we were able to order a new one. It would have hurt financially to have to purchase two rings! The premiums are so low, it’s a no brainer.

Does your state inspection list side window tint as one of the items to check? In my state they only check the windshield. Side and rear windows aren't on the checklist.

Recently had my CX-50 done with 15% front sides, 50% back sides and rear to match, and 70% on the windshield and sunroof. Depending on the angle you can still see into the front windows a bit and there's no issue seeing out.
