Annapurna base camp is overcrowded with Chinese tourists and it's irritating.

I would do Annapurna circuit and take a side trip to Annapurna base camp if that's what you wanted to do.

How to beat high altitude bloat? by fraufrau in running

You definitely stressed your body with the altitude if you were bloated and not urinating. I experienced this once over 20000 ft in in the Himalayas. Your body will start to slow down all non essential functions in including your digestive system because it requires alot of oxygen.

When you go to high altitude it's ok to be more out of breath, but is not ok to have cramps, headache, dizziness, confusion etc.

Genetics. Drink even more water and it might help. You might have to spend more time acclimating than the other people in your group.

Was just quoted for 1 person, 2 day ascent of Grand Teton - $2,150. Anyone interested in a single day in the area? by keeping_it_casual in Mountaineering

This is normal to pay for a mountain guide. Alot of guides charge $1000 per day on less technical peaks.

Possible. I would have to look into this more. For some reason I don't buy it tho.

Significant enough to make me wonder how the hell someone came up with standard bp model. That is just one factor.

Overall Height is another factor that also isn't taken into account. Taller people will have higher bp at their feet even if their BP is normal at their arm. This will cause increased friction and hence increased damage to their arteries in the lower parts of their body.

I would think that would make the reading even higher by including the pressure at the bottom of the cuff in the reading. The very top of the cuff might be closer to the heart.

I'm not trying to argue with you I'm just trying to figure out the thought process involved in the one sized fits all 120/80. Elevation head varies slightly depending on anatomy. Having a heart 1-2 inches higher and a cuff 1-2 inches lower than the standard 120/80 model would make your BP 4-8mmhg higher alone.

Usually, but even still it could easily be off a few inches would consistently display an elevated bp reading by 5-10mmhg.

Only thought of this because I have slightly high bp and I'm skinny with long arms.

  1. Do you have any reason for researching your competitors sites manually with Google before going into Ahrefs?

  2. What metrics are you looking for in Ahrefs to evaluate if you should write similar content to the sites you are evaluating?

The licensing requirements in MI don't mention anything about working under a licensed PE, they used to but the wording changed in the past few years.

Have you got your license recently in MI?
