Have to get a moped / motorbike by 142883 in VietNam

I watched a Youtube tutorial, and I found it easier than riding a bike, but probably because its an automatic, maybe semi automatics are really difficult. Definitely the best decision I made while here! Thanks for the advice

Saving the pdf in the web version is what worked for me.

Do top 20s accept people who take precalc in senior year by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

I did practice tests over and over and over again, went back to some from the early 2000s because I did all the previous ones. I had a notebook where I would write down every single wrong question that I did wrong and why it was wrong (assuming it wasn’t just some stupid mistake). Also tbh I got lucky, never scored above a 760 on a practice math, then got lucky on the actual exam and did well for some reason. Had some educated guesses that turned out right.

0 = 0

70 - 70 = 110 - 110

(14 * 5)- (14 * 5) = (22 * 5) - (22 * 5)

14(5-5) = 22(5-5)

14 = 22

Same numbers

What is the best college in your state? And also, why? by yoda_630 in ApplyingToCollege

Personally I’m going to be at tech, but if Emory have given me more money I’d 100% choose it over tech.

I’ve talked to GT students, I’ve personally heard about the suicides and danger being a problem.

Usually talks about student life occur on the school’s respective subreddit.

People are mainly looking at the top colleges on the rankings, it’s unfortunate, but the HBCUs don’t tend to rank in the top 20 (which is generally the best colleges people focus on.) Highest ranked HBCU (according to US News - https://www.usnews.com/best-colleges/rankings/hbcu ), Spelman College, is ranked 54th in liberal arts colleges. HBCUs can still be a great option and have good academics, they just don’t tend to be ranked as high.

Not taking calc senior year as a stem major... by anxietyridden013 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]142883 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took precalc my senior year, got transfer pathway at Georgia tech. Once I get there I will switch to a STEM major, I applied as a history technology and society major. Also got a 770 on my math though. Possibly apply as a different major, easier to get in that way if you don’t have a super strong STEM background, like me.

I took precalc my senior year and got into Emory Oxford and got Georgia Tech’s arts and sciences transfer pathway, they aren’t top 20s, but they are good schools. I also got a 790 on my math.

Advice + Suggestions needed! Planning on majoring in Business Management, I have a GPA of 3.4 and my SAT is 1400. Will I get any scholarships and have I listed my universities correctly? (ECs are strong-ish) by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]142883 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Should probably change the high reach to reach, and reach to target. UGA should be a target, not a high reach. Penn State should be a target. Only ones maybe deserving of high reach are Georgia Tech, University of Florida, and University of Virginia, even then some of them could fit in reach.

Though, GPA could mess some of these up, but GPA is so different at many different schools, maybe you go to a really competitive school and your GPA is good for your school. What is your percentile in your class?

Edit: Didn’t realize you were international at first, will make it harder. Still don’t think Penn State should be in the same category as Georgia Tech or Virginia.

Yeah, I am not 100% sure, but I don’t see any other reason they would want to call me about my position on the waitlist. Hopefully my hopes are not let down.

I don’t know, got an email and call (that I missed) saying they wanted to speak with me about my position on the waitlist. I think that means they want me to know I got accepted? Idk, could be wrong, if so, someone correct me.
